Prior to working at LegacyShield, Michael was President and CEO of Transamerica Brokerage and, before that, Executive VP and Chief Product Officer. He has worked as an attorney advising clients on tax and business (including business creation, mergers and acquisitions and exit strategies), as well as consulting with high-net-worth clients on complex financial, tax and estate planning matters. His career path has included experiences in IT, law and financial services. Michael serves a number of professional and community associations, serving as Chairman, where he offers advice and guidance based on in-depth industry knowledge. He is a well-versed keynote speaker on leadership, legacy planning, risk mitigation and protecting family finances.
Michael’s postgraduate degrees include a J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, Master of Laws in taxation from the University of San Diego and an MBA from the University of Southern California. He has an undergraduate degree from the University of California at Irvine and graduated from Harvard Business School’s program for leadership development.
